Samantha graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Science degree. She is a Registered Professional Landman through the American Association of Professional Landmen (AAPL) and is an active member of several professional organizations, including AAPL, PBLA, NMLA, NADOA, and PBDOA.

Samantha began her career as a field landman at Arrington Oil and Gas, where she gained hands-on experience working across multiple basins. During her time in-house, she worked in the division order department, land administration and led various leasing projects. In 2013, she advanced to the position of Area Landman with Kastner Land Services, where she oversaw numerous clients, managing all field landman and operations in both the Midland Basin and Delaware Basin. In this role, she was responsible for all title work, mineral acquisition, leasing, and curative projects.

In 2017, Samantha joined BC Operating, where she has been focused on mineral acquisitions, divestitures, curative, division orders, and leasing.
